While many brick-and-mortar and notable online diamonds retailers use commissioned sales people who simply read from scripts and misinform the consumer with false knowledge, Smart Carat tosses that old model aside by giving you one-on-one access to actual certified gemologists who can help guide your decision at your own pace. We’re also leveraging new media tools such as Skype that make it possible for you to talk directly with a certified gemologist and see actual products no matter where you are in the world, from the simplest jewelry such as Diamond Studs to the most elaborate creations.
Our direct partnerships with siteholders around the world means we have access to more than 30,000 conflict free and GIA certified diamonds, and we’re able to sell to you these diamonds at rates comparable to what brick-and-mortar retailers pay for their own diamonds.
Additionally, beyond just delivering you the diamond you want, we’re able to help you design your ring. If you don’t already have a setting in mind or you’ve seen one you want in a magazine or at a high end retailer, Smart Carat can re-create these styles or custom-make you something to your liking and guarantees your satisfaction.
Finally, it’s important to know that Smart Carat only works with companies that follow the Kimberly Process, which guarantees no diamonds we sell are Blood Diamonds and every diamond comes with proper certification. We also work with many Canadian siteholders where, although they don’t require certification, they too have proper papers.
