When selecting a shape think about your girlfriend’s style. Does she like things that are classic and timeless? If the answer is yes you may want to go with a Round Shape. If she is unique, and does not want something that many others have, consider a Marquise Shape. If you want a stone where there is a little more Sparkle and Fire and has more facets to the stone, then you would shy away from an Emerald or Asscher Cut.

Remember when selecting that perfect engagement ring and shape of Diamond pick a stone that reflects who she is and what she is about. If she is very simple and classic don’t buy her a flashy ring that is only going to stay in style for a short period of time. Simple is not a bad thing when thinking engagement rings.
