How to Pick Ring Size

Ready to buy your girlfriend an engagement ring, but you don’t know her ring size? Below are three ways you can find out:

1) Ask one of her friends. You can be sure that at some point, your girlfriend has let her friends know her ring size for that one day when you need it. If they don’t know, have them ask her.

2) Simply take one of the rings she wears to a jeweler and have it sized.

3) Ask your girlfriend directly. Of course this may tip her off but think of a fun way to ask her or pretend it’s for something else.

4) For the sneaky type, you can cut a thin piece of paper and wrap it around her finger while she is sleeping. Then tape it together around her finger, slide it off, and take it to jeweler to get measured.

Note to disclaimer: When selecting ring size try to be as accurate as possible, but remember rings can always be re-sized. However, it’s worth noting that with Platinum it is more difficult to re-size then with Gold.
